Daughter of legandary jazz drummer Tony Hicks, Daisy Hicks was destined to be a musician. Thee singer-songwriter has lived up to the high expectations with new jazz-inspired pop single ‘Christmas Without You’. The seasonal single evokes nostalghia, love and heartbreak.
After being classically trained and beginning her career in jazz, Daisy deviated from her music roots and explored different music genres. The product is ‘Christmas Without You’, a musical mix which could be the next Christmas hit.
Daisy’s musical career has been a constant high, from workig with Aron Friedman, Malcom Maddock and Matt Fell, to having her track ‘So Much More Than Love’ featured on the hit US TV series ‘Pretty Little Liars’.
Written by Daisy and produced by Tim Laws, Pete Craigie and Chris Harvery, ‘Christmas Without You’ is a beautifully formed single that will be donating 10% of digital sales in 2016 to BBC’S Children In Need. This festive track will soon be followed by ‘French Cafe’, set to release early 2017.
