‘Waiting For The Red Light’ is the new single from dance-duo, Apachelux who draw inspiration from a number of genres to create their own brand of floor-filling music.
Having found success with their debut single ‘This Time’ and having their track ‘Only When You’re Lonely’ listed on The Times essential tracks of 2015, Apachelux have built a strong platform for themselves to release their new single which picks up where they left off.
Inspired by a varying array of artists such as Girls Aloud, Royal Blood and Maya Jane Coles, the duo take the best parts of all their favourite music to form their own distinctive style of dance-driven tunes.
Louisa Strachan and Jay Wigmore are the musical minds behind Apachelux and they met at Village Green festival in 2014. Now based in Southend-on-Sea, which is building a reputation for nurturing homegrown acts, such as Nothing But Thieves and Asylums, Apachelux are part of a vibrant musical community looking to break out to wider audiences.
Recorded in their home studio and mixed and mastered by John Webber at Air Studios, ‘Waiting For The Red Light’ is set to release 7th April.
