Slydigs, a four-piece band from the North West, are set to bring rock and roll firmly back into the 21st Century with their latest track ‘How Animal Are You?’
The song is taken from their upcoming EP of the same name, and is a statement and a half when it comes to creating a sound to make your ears take notice.
The band already has a rich history behind them, in terms of the musicians they have supported, from Pete Doherty, to Catfish and The Bottlemen all the way up to mod giants The Who; which led to Trinifold Management (The Who’s management team) signing them in 2014.

Slydigs’ music follows the tone of being disillusioned with modern day life, principal songwriters Dean Fairhurst (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Louis Menguy (lead guitar) delivering a variety of tracks under the umbrella that is their statement sound.
The music video screams slick, kept in black and white with interchanging screens reminiscent of The Beatles’ Hard Day’s Night cover; the song marries perfectly with the visuals.

With the opening riff mirroring the hard-hitting pace of The Kinks’ ‘You Really Got Me’ infamous intro, the track rises into an euphoric chorus which is set to get the people singing rock and roll once more.
