‘Go Your Way’ is the new single from electronic Canadian artist, Voldo Blanka, who left the world of rock’n’roll behind to pursue his own personal project which has become a reflection of the artist himself.
Voldo has also worked as a film composer which has lent a distinct cinematic nature to the music he makes, adding a certain grandeur and sense of image when listening to his music.
Tapping into deep sensations and emotions such as fear, anticipation, horror and suspense, the result is a form of sonic storytelling that’s ethereal at times and ‘auditory violence’ at others.
‘Go Your Way’ is driven by a powerful melody that is built around a classical piano line, providing a contrast in sound that seems incongruous, but in fact, works very well. Spaced out vocals accompany this, alongside some experimental instrumentation that proves how much of boundary pushing artist Voldo Blanka actually is.
